Nicholas Greco IV, M.S., B.C.E.T.S., C.A.T.S.M., F.A.A.E.T.S., is President and Founder of C3 Education and Research, Inc., a public safety training and consulting firm. Nick has over 29 years of experience training civilians and first responders. He has directed, managed, and presented over 1,000 training programs globally across various topics including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, verbal de-escalation techniques, post-traumatic stress disorder, burnout, and vicarious traumatization. He has authored over 325 book reviews and authored or co-authored numerous articles and text supplements in psychiatry and psychology.
He received his undergraduate training in psychology from Benedictine University, his certificate of clinical training in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from the National Center for PTSD Clinical Laboratory and Education Division, and his Master’s degree in Psychology from DePaul University.
He is an approved CIT instructor with the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB), a CIT instructor for the Chicago Police Department, Basic and Advanced CIT Coordinator and CIP Coordinator for NAMI – Kenosha and Walworth Counties, a CIT Advisory Board Member for NAMI Wisconsin, a CIT for Dispatch instructor and Certified CIT Coordinator Instructor for CIT International, a QPR Instructor, a Subject Matter Expert for Lexipol/Police One, and an Instructor for Calibre Press.
He is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), an Associate Member Service Provider of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), a member of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association, both a member of and certified CIT Coordinator with CIT International, a board advisor for Law Enforcement Training Officers Association of Wisconsin (LETOA) and a Board Member of NIEAPA. In 2024, he co-created and instructed the CIT train-the-trainer curriculum for the Ukrainian National Police in Kyiv.
